Magic City - Season 1 - Update E08

Kagi no Kakatta Heya - Update E07
“Kagi no Kakatta Heya” is based on a novel by author Kishi Yusuke. Ohno plays an employee of a major security company who has to unravel various incidents. The series falls under the “locked room” mystery genre, in which crimes are committed under seemingly impossible circumstances (such as within a room with no apparent means of escape). Ohno’s character has an obsession with studying keys and locks, giving him an advantage in solving each mystery.
ATARU - Update E08
Ataru, who suffers from “savant syndrome,” has the power to discover, observe, see through, and deduct microscopic evidence of unsolved cases. Why does he always go to the criminal sites? What explains his strange behavior? His sad past will be revealed as the story unfolds. An explosion occurs at a chemical factory, leaving one person dead. The investigation team concludes that it is merely an accident, but Ebina Maiko has her doubts. When she goes to the site again, she finds a man who introduces himself as “Chokozai.” After blurting out a series of words that Maiko cannot understand, he suddenly falls asleep. Maiko decides to look up the meaning of these words. She is taken aback when she discovers that when put together, these words provide the key to solving the case.
Mikeneko Holmes no Suiri - Update E05
Based on a popular novel series by Akagawa Jiro. Also known in English as “Calico Cat Holmes,” the series has had dozens of books released, with a total of more than 26 million copies in print. Aiba plays Katayama Yoshitaro, the son of a famous police detective. He followed his father’s dying wish and became a detective as well, but with his inability to look at blood and his fears of heights, ghosts, and women, he failed to succeed in his work. But one day, he meets a Calico cat named Holmes who can understand human speech and has extraordinary powers of deduction. The two form a duo, working together to solve difficult cases.
Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files - Season 3 - Update E05
Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files is set to revolutionize paranormal programming by investigating the evidence witnesses post on the Internet every day. Have you ever seen a photo or vide online and wondered, "Is this real?" This is the show that will answer that question. Heading up the Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files team is Ben Hansen, a former FBI agent who found that his love of the paranormal was greater than his love for the Agency. Now, he leads a young team of intrepid investigators who will convene to dissect the latest unusual images and decide whether they merit further investigation. Grainy videos will be brought to life using the latest in 3D modeling, and Ben will make the final choice which cases will require a trip into the field.
Bones - Season 7 - Update E13
The seventh season of the American television series Bones premiered on November 3, 2011, on the Fox Network. The season will be truncated due to Emily Deschanel's pregnancy, where six episodes will air in 2011, and then go on hiatus for Deschanel's maternity leave. The season will begin a few months after the end of the previous season with Brennan in her third trimester. The season will also introduce a new recurring antagonist, whom executive producer Stephen Nathan describes as "more of a 21st-century, tech-savvy foe" compared to the series' past recurring antagonists. The first six episodes will also deal with Booth and Brennan preparing to raise their child.
Fringe - Season 4 - Update E22
The fourth season of the American science fiction television series Fringe premiered on Fox on September 23, 2011, and will consist of 22 episodes. The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. The show was officially renewed for a fourth season on March 24, 2011.
CSI - Season 12 - Update E22
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (also known as CSI: Las Vegas) is an American crime drama television series, which premiered on CBS on October 6, 2000. The show was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is filmed primarily at Universal Studios in Universal City, California. The series follows Las Vegas criminalists as they use physical evidence to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic drama, which has inspired a host of other cop-show “procedurals”. An immediate ratings smash for CBS, the series mixes deduction, gritty subject matter and popular characters. The network quickly capitalized on its hit with spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
Koshonin 1
In a modern society in which violent crimes are on the rise, there is a team that tries to resolve cases without bloodshed. It is the metropolitan police’s special team, known by the abbreviation SIT (Special Investigation Team). The SIT doesn’t get into action after a case but heads to the site just as a crime is being committed. They are on the front-line of risky missions, facing off against criminals; tenaciously conducting negotiations with criminals. As a result of the rigid police hierarchy that can curb the conduct of negotiators, the SIT is also a male-dominated society controlled with strict discipline. There is one female negotiator, Usagi Reiko, who bravely fights at the frontline. She is isolated in the male world of the SIT but courageously fights against crime as well as her organisation.
Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo 3
The Young Kindaichi is back and better than ever! In this first of many cases, Kindaichi finds himself onboard a cruise ship in which the captain mysteriously disappears the day after a big party. A search of the ship finds nothing, except for little drops of blood on the light switch in the captain’s room. Might it be a clue perhaps? You bet! When what looks to be a case of serious foul play unfolds, the ship’s radio is found disabled-so much for contacting the authorities. So, far out at sea until they can reach land, it’s up to Kindaichi and friends to find the killer – and stay alive!
Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo 2
Kindaichi was the grandson of a famous detective, and although had an IQ of 180, did not do well in school. He cracked many cases using logic and the leads he could find at the scenes of murder. Although the murderers could be predictable at times, it is interesting to see how he solved the mystery.
Kiina Fukano Hanzai Sosakan
At first glance Haruse Kiina is a completely normal 29-year-old. However, Kiina is the head of a special investigation unit nicknamed “Beppan” which deals with strange cases. With an unorthodox approach to solving crimes, she draws on her exceptional memory and powers of observation, and gets so absorbed in the pursuit of these cases that she forgets to eat or sleep til she solves the mystery.
Keizoku
Graduating at the top of her class, elite detective candidate Jun Shibata is transferred to the section that handles cases deemed “unsolvable” by the department. Her partner, though a well-respected and experienced detective, has grown complacent after unsuccesfully pursuing these cases that many consider an exercise in futility. With her upper class breeding, her colleagues don’t expect much from her either, but she suprises them all with her motivation and astounding powers of deduction.
