Hanayome wa Yakudoshi

This year is the yakudoshi, or “unlucky year” for 32-year old Akiko (Shinohara Ryoko), a television announcer. She lost her position in a news program to a rookie announcer. What’s worse, she is assigned to go undercover and experience life as a farmer’s bride for a variety program. Akiko pretends to be the fiancée of Ichiro (Yabe Hiroyuki), her ex-boyfriend, and begins her “bridal training” at the peach farm of Ichiro’s parents. Awaiting Akiko is a family filled with extraordinary personalities, led by the stern mother-in-law, Yukie (Iwashita Shima).



Hanawake no Yon Shimai

A dad who is popular with the ladies and a mom that continues to love the dad without any doubt like a young girl. The four sisters that the unbelievably ironclad husband and wife raised includes, an unmarried and divorced, a marriage hunter, a boyfriend-less, and one that has no luck with men. Out of them all, the second daughter Takemi, was the problem child, having divorced multiple times and has 3 kids. Because Takemi lives true to herself, she often ends up standing out from everyone, and gets called “the femme fatale with many lovers,” problem child,” and “devil.” Will she end up causing many humorous troubles!?

Hana Yori Dango 2

This second season of Hana Yori Dango picks up right after Domyoji leaves for New York. After confessing to Domyoji, Makino has not spoken to him for a year. Rui and the other members of F4 try and help Makino meet Domyoji again by going to New York for the christmas holidays. Though F4 and Makino meet Domyoji again, he has become a completely different person, and so they leave for Japan. Some time later, Domyoji’s mother annouces that they will be returning to Japan. There, they hold a giant super-rich and classy birthday party for Domyoji and announce something very important. Domyoji, like in the first season, is engaged to a rich girl and heir. The only difference is that they are to be wed soon. What will Makino do? On the side, Rui begins to fall in love with Makino… will this become a love… square?

Hana Yori Dango

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyoji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyoji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4’s bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school. Makino hopes to pass her days quietly– without drawing any attention to herself– but one day, she stands up to Domyoji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice.

HAMMER SESSION!

Two prisoners managed to escape after the police truck carrying them crashed. One of them ,is a gangster. The other called “Otowa YonKo” – our protagonist – is a con artist whose cheats money from criminals or terrorists. Accidentally, “Otowa Yonko” then becomes the new teacher for the nearby high school, under the new name “Hachisuka Goro”, and according to a deal of “Hammer Session” with the headmaster.





Haken no Hinkaku

Oomae Haruko is an A+ Temp worker who never cracks a smile or minces words, and leaves work on the dot. But her cynical nature indicates she has something painful to hide. Satonaka Kensuke has just been promoted to head S&F’s new Marketing Division. Saddled with a rag-tag group of subordinates, he is struggling to lift his division off the ground. When Oomae is placed in Kensuke’s department, she finds herself doing more work than she’s ever done before. This is a timely drama that examines the different attitudes toward temp workers and regular employees, and the ways to overcome frictions in interpersonal relationships. This follows an October report on labor conditions by the Labor Ministry, which showed that, after regulations were relaxed, the proportion of regular employees to Temps had doubled compared to that of eight years ago.

Haikei, Chichiue-sama

Set in an old prestigious Ryotei (Japanese-style restaurant) in a small town in the center of Tokyo, a young Itamae (cook for Japanese dishes) struggles his life, love and work while the long-lasted ryotei and the beloved old town face the change to survive the time. This heartwarming drama shows the intimate relationship of the community that has been lost nowadays, asks what the most important things in your life is, and tells how difficult it is to make a decision. The story is told in the form of a letter to his unknown father with lots of humor and love.



Hagetaka

A business drama set in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when the bubble economy had collapsed and Japanese businesses with conventional management cultures were exposed to corporate buyouts by foreign investors. Masahiko Washizu, the leading character, is a businessman who once worked for a Japanese bank. He comes back to Tokyo as a New York-trained fund manger to buy out Japanese businesses. Through eight years for the man called “vulture,” the drama depicts ambitions, struggles and hopes of those who are involved in corporate acquisitions.


Hagane no Onna 2

Haga Ineko stopped being a school teacher for she was about to get married. When she is suddenly dumped by her to-be husband, she loses her way, and starts drinking. One day, an old friend approaches with a job offer. She would be a substitute teacher in a class on which several teachers gave up without an apparent reason. She reluctantly takes the job only to discover that there are several brutal bullying cases inside the class. Even she eventually starts being anonymously threatened due to her opposing posture against such cases. She now has to identify and reprimand them while at the same time protecting weaker students. The word “Hagane” on the title is a nickname which comes from Haga (her surname) and Ne (from Ineko, her name), but is actually a pun with the actual word hagane (which means steel, denoting how she must be in order to resist as a teacher).

H2 Kimi to itahibi

Takayuki Yamada and Satomi Ishihara play a hero and heroine in a mixture of youth and baseball. Hiro Kunimi (Takayuki Yamada) was an ace pitcher in junior high school,until he was diagnosed by a doctor as having a “glass elbow”. He gave up baseball and joined Senkawa Senior High School’s soccer team. But then something happens that reignites his passion for baseball and he joins a baseball team managed by Haruka Koga (Satomi Ishihara). And he finds himself in a match against his old rival Hideo Tachibana (Koutaro Tanaka) who has advanced to Meiwa No.1 High School. The meeting of the two is observed by Hidehiro’s girlfriend Hikari Amamiya (Yui Ichikawa). Meanwhile, Haruka finds herself increasingly drawn towards Hiro, despite his being interested only in baseball.
